Final 2 days of Calf Fundraiser

We are in the final stages of our calf fundraiser in aid of the new pitch development.  This is a huge undertaking for the club but the results will benefit all age groups for years to come so we would please ask for everyone to still get involved and donate.
Field History
Just a little brief but interesting history on the field and what can be achieved when everyone pulls together and gets behind the club.
In 1961 the club took out Prize Bonds in the names of Pat Tobin and Ned Barry and lady luck shone on us in 1977 when we won £25,000.  In 1979 the club purchased the new field from John Hanrahan in Gurteenaboul and planning permission was then sought for a playing field.  In 1984 the official opening of the pitch and dressing rooms took place but in the 3 years and 3 months from the purchase of the field the field, dugouts, dressing rooms and car parks were all paid for due to huge efforts in fundraising.
That was some achievement back in a time of no grants and we hope that we will see similar support now and that the new development will further enhance that hard work done all those years ago.
